An anonymous union committee member reached via the Bruce 20 Campbell good bad I’m the guy with the gun Shirt moreover I love this @EverlaneU Twitter account insists they actually did sign up a majority. “Last Monday, we sent an email to corporate asking them to voluntarily recognize our union,” he says. “We told them 60% of our team was supportive of it, and then four days later, we were all laid off. So you can see how the timing is suspect.” What’s more, on Monday, an internal “all hands” email went out to Everlane employees (referred to as “Everlaners”) stating that online sales “have been surprisingly solid” amid retail stores being closed. Week-over-week online sales were up 32%, leading the former employee to “question this narrative they’re putting forth about [needing to dramatically cut] costs.” He also noted that every employee had received constant assurances—both via email and in person—that Everlane was not planning layoffs, aside from the in-store teams, who had simply been furloughed. “Our supervisors told us as late as Thursday that we shouldn’t be worried about layoffs,” he says. “And then on Friday, we tried to log into our Zendesk accounts and we were locked out. We were given no indication this would happen, and we had no time to prepare or look for other jobs.”

On top of their suspicion that upper management took advantage of the Bruce 20 Campbell good bad I’m the guy with the gun Shirt moreover I love this opportunity to sabotage the union, it was mostly the brusque, impersonal way things were handled that motivated them to speak out against their former employer. “I’ve seen other companies react [to the coronavirus], and they’ve been very communicative with their teams about what will happen if they do layoffs, but at no point did Everlane communicate with us. Those other companies have offered their employees voluntary leave or reduced wages to save costs, and if we had more of a dialogue with Everlane, we would have gladly done that,” he says. “This isn’t an us-versus-them situation… We loved Everlane and really believed in it, and we would have done anything to make sure the company was operating with as little expense as possible. But none of us were given those options. Their complete lack of transparency, the lack of communication, and the assurances that no layoffs would happen [in order] to keep us working… It all just seems so massively coincidental.”

Really good quality printing- true to my design, and the t shirt is a good fit too. As the delivery was slower than anticipated (but still very quick!) I also was given a discount for my next order. Will be using this site again in future.
